Katie playing varsity...Yes, she was the setter for them for the last 8 games and did a good job. All three girls suit up for varsity and they do get a little bit of playing time. They do a great job and Tower won there first volleyball game against Ely. Great job girls!!!!

Football Season has started!!!
The Tower-Soudan Golden Eagles played their first game against the Cherry Tigers. We lost 42-14. You have to give these boys credit they had 10 guys eligable to play for 9 man football. They never gave up and fought right to the end...
The Golden Eagles played their second game against the Babbitt Knights. The Golden Eagles are making a come back. We took a big victory....Nice job guys....Check out some of the highlights....

Day at Julie and John Cabin
This was our last weekend on Lake Vermillion. It was not a nice day but as you can tell from these pics. it did not stop us from having a good time. Oh and Grampa Doo made an appearance. The kids would sauna and jump in the lake. We played some golf ball game (not sure what it is called), and the kids enjoyed themselves to some basketball..Give these kids a ball and a hoop and they are entertained for hours!!!!!
All that attended this party, Julie, John,Jared and Justin Poderzay. Chas, Heather (chas's friend), Hayley and Olivia Lilya. Grandpa Doo and Jim Lilya (from Detroit Lakes MN). Jessica, Kylie, Danielle and Katie Lenci. This party was not as entertaining as The Volcano Sisters but was a good time.

The Summer
The summer has gone pretty fast for us. Craig has been working, the girls have been playing basketball, spent a few weekends in Detroit Lakes, they spent a week in Northfield with their cousins, and shopping. It has been busy, busy, busy...
With school starting shortly we are now starting our games. Craig has his first football game Aug. 28, and the girls are playing their first Volleyball game Aug. 27. I will keep you posted.
